I’ll start with my dental experience--several years ago, a dentist in Washington State had recommended the extraction of one of my upper molars (due to the advanced decay that occurred beneath the tooth’s’ filling. ) Not knowing any better, I agreed. Well, turns out it was what it called “an anchor tooth” and after it was pulled, my upper teeth started shifting and moving. I’ve always had nice teeth, so obviously this really bothered me. Within my first consultation, Dr. Foerster’s and his excellent staff (“Danny” is meticulous and her upbeat positive attitude is contagious!) had formed a dental plan that would essentially replace the pulled tooth with a partial bridge, as well as the replacement of many old fillings that were metal, and could fail and permit decay to continue beneath the filling. They have always been within or below the quote(s) given, and my smile is incredible!
The staff and Dr. Foerster have always explained all procedures, possible reactions, possible sensations, and potential risks with any and all of our dental work. He or members of his staff personally call every patient after any procedure--- even a simple filling! They call as a courtesy to see how you’re feeling, and ask if you have any questions. That is customer service you simply don’t get very often in today’s world. Heck, that’s customer service I’ve never heard of in the dental industry, and it goes to show the caliber of quality you can expect as his patient.
Next, my husband’s dental story—he had an unexpected emergency dental situation on a Friday, and though the office is ‘closed’ on Fridays, they happened to be at a ‘staff development’ training in the office, and not only returned the call after hearing our message, but saw him that very day! He ended up needing a root canal due to the advanced decay and infection in the tooth, but they alleviated his pain and got him on an antibiotic to combat the infection. We are so grateful to them!
Lastly, our kids--both of our children receive dental services at his office, and they love, love, love going to the dentist!
The reception area is comfortable, pleasant, spacious, and spotless. The technology used is state-of-the-art and computerized, which makes certain that everything, from appointments scheduling to x-rays, are efficiently done, cost-effective, and accurate. We are almost always seen within minutes of our appointment time, and they seem to value my time as much as I do. I know that it sounds like I’m a paid spokesperson for the office, (which I’m not) but I want the outstanding job they do to be acknowledged. Thank you!
My entire family has been going to Dr. Foerster’s for several years now, and we wouldn’t go anyplace else. In addition to accepting and billing our dental insurance, they accept it as “payment in full’, which means no balance for the difference between what a service actually costs, and the amount the insurance company chooses to pay.
