Maple Rock Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful establishment in Potsdam, NY. I have had the privilege of spending time there on many occasions, and I’m constantly blown away by the inviting atmosphere. Not only is Maple Rock gorgeous in it’s design, but the location adds to it’s overall feeling of deep serenity. Audrey & Jake are young, upbeat, and respectful hosts that make you feel comfortable from the second you walk in the door. The Maple Rock kitchen sets the tone for this serenity filled space with views of the vast farmland, and striking maple trees. Despite being so close to downtown Potsdam, Maple Rock makes you feel like you’re visiting the countryside in depths of Europe. Regardless of if you are staying from out of town, or visiting locally this environment will surely capture your heart and leave an experience you will remember forever. We love visiting Maple Rock, and feel gracious to have had such incredible memories from time spent here.
This was a really nice experience. :) Audrey greeted us warmly and showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. She asked us what time we'd like breakfast and what we liked to eat; so she could plan out our meals for the morning. The room was modern, comfortable and clean and had plenty of space. The internet speed was very fast which is GREAT for someone who needs to work remotely or watch a movie on their laptop. I think what made this a happy experience was having a host who showed an interest in us and made sure we were happy with our stay. That makes all the difference, especially at a B&B.

You can tell Audrey and Jake love what they do. I was in the area for my son's football game and was lucky to find this gem! I stayed in room #4 it was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. Love all of the special touches, they even had make-up remover wipes! Breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit with yogurt and homemade granola. And cornbread waffles with pure maple syrup and bacon!! Yummy. There were afternoon snack too. More homemade goodies. Audrey offers cooking classes, hope to someday get back to the area to try them. They are also handicapped accessible - which is rare for a B and B. Would recommend Maple Rock to anyone. Worth the trip!! Thanks for making me feel at home.
