It's a very nice atmosphere, the food is robust and the tastes are local, but my $8 salad was about 5 bites worth of food.
Food was (of course) fantastic, that's why I keep coming back.
1844 house has a lot going for it, the portion sizes are not part of that list.
It should also be noted, the wait staff were very helpful and courteous!
The portions were laughably small.
